ن  is the first letter of the Arabic word for Christians, “Nasara,” which is derived from the word, Nazareth (where Jesus was born). ISIS, a muslim extremist sect in the Middle East, is targeting Christians and marking their homes with this letter to seize their property and/or be killed. Christians around the world are using this letter to support the persecuted church in the Middle East. 

In this art piece the letter is repeated and turned into a cross.
